appily as it turns out these merchants (online store owners) are very glad to pay you to send potential customers their way!

A few internet companies have set themselves up as brokers so to speak. These merchants sign up with them, depositing funds to pay affiliates or sometimes called publishers (that's you and me) to publish valuable informational content that will steer folks to their stores. This is done through links such as this one: eBay! .

If you click on that link (which contains my unique affiliate #) this is what happens: 1st it places a harmless cookie on your computer so that the broker software knows where that click came from and they can credit me for the click and a percentage or fee for whatever product or service you might buy. (in some cases they may pay you up to 30%!) Sometimes they pay just a few cents for the click itself. (these clicks can seriously add up!) In the case of ebay I would get paid for new user sign ups and a few cents for each bid that they made. People are making thousands and thousands of dollars every month just doing this.

All the tracking for these clicks and purchases is done automatically by the broker company's software and then you get paid, normally once a month. It's not unusual to make $600 and more per website per month. Some folks have up to 90! websites! Whew! Did somebody say writers cramp? (you can hire people to do the writing for you) or keyboard cramp? Lets see, $600 X 90 = $54,000 per MONTH! The money is there! There are basically three ways to go about this.
