Side Note: I started with no help at all because I had little or nothing to invest in this project. I did not do myself a favor! I went through days and weeks of a steep learning curve and ended up spending just as much or more than I would have investing in the knowledge of what does or does not work. It's always better to learn by Other  peoples mistakes!

"Do It All Yourself!"

began writing this with one of those columns that has "advantages" and "disadvantages", but couldn't think of any advantages!

Anyway here is what someone would need to start:

1) A software program for constructing and uploading web pages. There are two, one is Dreamweaver which seems popular and the other is Frontpage.

I have the 2003 version and like it very much. You don't have to be familiar with HTML (code language) you can actually just cut and paste your material straight onto the pages and the program adds the code for you.

With this software you can type straight on to the page you're working on. Its just like working with any word processor. You can get it on eBay!  for around $80. It comes with good tutorials to get you going.

2)  A hosting service where you would store your pages in a server so that folks all over the world can access your information 24 hrs a day. I use "GoDaddy", They are reliable and cheap, only about $5 a month: https://www.godaddy.com  also you would need a domain name such as mine: christian-income.com at like $9 a year.

3) A template such as you see me using here which is the setup of the page. All you have to do is replace their lines such as "Type your main text here" with your own text. There are free ones available around the internet or much better ones can be purchased for less than $50. Click on My Arts Desire below to see examples.

4) The knowledge! (I'll be adding pages to supply this, just  and I will send you updates as they are added.)
