n my
research, I have found that those that do well have found (that
elusive word used frequently in internet circles) a Niche market.
A Niche market is one that is very specialized, so
specialized that not many or no one else is doing it. You've
heard the saying, "if you want to get rich - find a need and fill
it." That's what this is. Something unique or special that some
group of people want and can not find easily.
I've heard of all sorts of products that
have made lots of money for the sellers. One lady sells very special
cookies that she makes herself. I heard of a lady that sells
specialized yarn for knitting, very profitable. Another sells all
the items needed for "first birthday parties". Some market special
clothes, special tools for craft creations, you get the idea -
special items that only a select group might find very
desirable. I believe there are great possibilities here and quite
possibly the Lord would lead you in this direction. Some specialized
products are very expensive and you could produce them yourself,
improve them and sell them at less cost! A wining deal for you and
the customer!
For instance, I love riding bicycles, a
little over a year ago I asked the Lord to help me get into shape
and loose some weight so He led me into riding bikes! Great fun,
lost a bunch of weight and it has improved my over all health.
Sorry, got carried away, anyway my point is that there are many
items in bicycling that seem way to expensive for what you get like
$50 short sleeve jerseys that surely could be made better/cheaper.
